Pace of Development
Slower growth and prioritizing rental and affordable housing
I will advocate for a slower pace of development that takes into account the demands placed on basic infrastructure, including our roads, bridges, hospitals, and schools.
My voting record on Council has been consistent in my opposition to large market strata developments that will increase our population and strain our North Vancouver way of life.
At the same time, I have supported and will continue to support rental projects, as well as affordable and supportive housing for those most in need.
I will continue to speak out against the provincial density mandates that seek to force us to zone for a rate of growth that is unsustainable and not supported by infrastructure investment.
